An old hobby, became my biggest passion

After picking up my old camera and finally finding the courage to call myself a photographer. I quickly found myself face to face with a world of opportunity.

During my first year, I worked across Michigan and explored every new direction I could find. I photographed landscapes, portraits, weddings, businesses, and live music. I documented culture as it unfolded, while also learning how to build an idea from a blank canvas.

I was always moving, experimenting, and saying yes. I placed very few limits on what I would photograph because I wanted to learn as much as possible.

Over the past few years, I have slowed that process down and sharpened my focus toward the work that genuinely fuels me. I have learned that giving a project more thought, care, and time allows me to create work that feels more personal, intentional, and lasting.

Photography is not currently my only job. I also work as a bartender, another craft I care deeply about. It pays the bills, keeps me connected to people, and gives me the freedom to choose projects because I believe in them, not simply because I need to take them.

That balance has helped me create stronger work while expanding into filmmaking, web design, branding, and other forms of visual storytelling.

I care about honest collaboration, thoughtful ideas, and making work that feels specific to the people behind it.
